US Lawn Mower Racing coming back to Curry County
Clovis, NM – The Curry County Fair is proud to announce the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association will host a national point show during the 100th celebration.
The lawn mower races made their mark as an exhibition race during the Curry County Events Center 10-year Anniversary Party in Oct. The popularity of the event encouraged fair organizers to bring back the association with more competition as a national point show.
In 2020, USLMRA Racers will compete throughout nine-states to advance to the association finals in Wamic, OR. The Curry County Fair will be the last stop on the tour schedule making the event full of excitement, competition, and fastest lawn mowers in the nation.
The lawn mower races will take center stage at the Mounted Patrol Arena on Frida, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15 of the fair. The Daily fair admission will allow spectators the opportunity to take in all the action.
This year’s fair admission includes all the entertainment, concerts, livestock shows, and fun for one price; adults (13-55 years) are $7, seniors (over 55 years) are $6, and Children (5-12 years) are $3. The 100th Curry County Fair is slated for August 11-15th in Clovis, NM.
