Chief Deputy Assessor Appointment

Curry County GIS Analyst, Randa Jesko, has been appointed Chief Deputy Assessor by newly re-elected Assessor Candace Morrison. Jesko is a graduate of Clovis High School and was born and raised in the area. Jesko went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Texas Tech University. She has a background in Construction Management and Permitting, Computer Information Systems, Computer Graphics, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, Land Surveying, Drafting, and Architecture with specialty emphasis in residential, commercial, sustainable, and agricultural designs.
Randa has worked in the Assessor’s Office since October of 2014 and she has received three accreditations towards her New Mexico Certified Appraiser license, and will be finishing her final certification this year. She is also very active in receiving training from the New Mexico EDGE program in which she has received three designations and is close to completing the GIS and the Assessor’s designation.
Randa is the Children’s Ministries Director and Youth Ministry Leader at Clovis New Life Assembly of God where she works with many teens and young children. She is also active with the United Way of Eastern New Mexico volunteering for collection of school supplies, Reality Check days for Clovis and Portales High School students, and serving on the Curry Youth Success Task Force. Jesko also takes an interest in participating with Curry County Foster Grandparents when she can.
